Thornlee is our end-of-season tournament, providing opportunities for competitive and social Langside players to take part in singles, levels, mixed and balloted mixed doubles events.
The event takes place every year in May, but has been on a hiatus since the COVID pandemic. We are delighted to bring it back to Langside players for the first time since May 2019.
The event will be held at the Sir Craig Reedie (Cockburn) Badminton Centre on Saturday 13 May (Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles), and again on Sunday 14 May (Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles and Balloted Mixed Doubles).
The event has been moved to take place across the one weekend, following player feedback and suggestions, as well as to relieve pressure on clubs to host the tournament in their halls.
