Thanks to Langside clubs who attended our AGM tonight.
No decisions have been made about the league this year, with club captains going to sound out club members’ opinions before we decide what we do next.
We will follow all guidance from Badminton Scotland and the Scottish Government, whatever happens.
We also discussed that even though badminton games may return from 14 September across Scotland, we may still struggle to accommodate league matches due to lack of venues (as our clubs use church halls which may be closed for considerably longer) or clubs may not have enough members to make up teams to play due to their concerns or worries regarding COVID-19 in general circulation.
We’ll give you an update later on once clubs have a chance to have a think what they want for the year ahead. 🏸
