Badminton Scotland have published new updated guidance for social and club play across Scotland, following the introduction of the tier system for coronavirus across Scotland. You can view this in full by visiting www.badmintonscotland.org.uk/covid-19-guidance
The biggest change in guidance will allow doubles to return between tiers 0 and 2, with restrictions still in place to abide by the latest guidelines from the Scottish Government.
This is really welcome news, as we have previously expressed concerns to Badminton Scotland the lack of doubles play would result in many clubs across Scotland folding. Although it may take some time until any of our areas reach tiers 0 to 2, it is great news and allows us to plan for it and give our club members something to look forward to.
