On Saturday 27 August, Langside Badminton League will celebrate it’s 90th anniversary.
To celebrate, we will be running a Ryder Cup-style ‘Battle of Langside’ tournament at the Sir Craig Reedie (Cockburn) Centre on Saturday 27 August, followed by a night out in Glasgow’s Southside. The tournament is open to players registered for Langside in the 2021/22 season and for all levels of player.
All those who register to play will be split in to two equal teams, who will then compete against each other to win the Langside Cup. Through the day there will be singles, doubles and mixed matches with points up for grabs to contribute to their team’s total to win the cup. You will only play against opponents to a similar standard as yourself to ensure all games are equal, competitive, but most importantly, fun!

Registration will close on Sunday 31 July. Costs will be confirmed once all entries are received, but we expect this to be around the £10 mark.
